A full body harness is used for many different tasks, such as building, rescue, fighting fires, rock climbing, shipbuilding, and bridge maintenance. It aids in avoiding fall-related injuries or fatalities.

Single point fall arrest safety harness is classified in Class A type Harness. This harnesses are made to support the body both during and after a fall arrest.
One D-ring for fall arrest attachment is attached to both shoulder straps of a class A harness, either in the front or the back.
